Margaritaville Resort Orlando today provided an exciting glimpse into what life can look like in paradise, releasing a new rendering of its vacation cottages. The highly-anticipated $750 million vacation destination, currently under development in the heart of Orlando, is slated to welcome guests in late 2018.
As shown in the new rendering (above), Margaritaville Resort Orlando’s 1,000 vacation cottages are scattered along a tropical garden path that winds through lushly landscaped gathering spots adorned with communal fire pits, hammocks and outdoor grills. Each cottage will embody Margaritaville’s tropical lifestyle and be completely unique. The cottage design features vibrantly colored exteriors, open entertaining floor plans, Caribbean-style siding, gingerbread trim and louvered shutters. Cottage to cottage, the resort offers distinctive roofing options which include synthetic thatch, corrugated tin, smooth slate and standing seam metal in various colors. Opportunities to socialize outdoors will be a key component, with most single-family homes including a porch, deck or sitting balcony.
When it opens officially next year, Margaritaville Resort Orlando will feature 1,000 residential units including a mix of the cottages, other styles of vacation homes, villas, and timeshare units. Renters and homeowners will have access to all the resort’s amenities and offerings, including its dining and entertainment district, swimming areas, 12-acre water park, 200,000 square feet of festive retail space, wellness center, miles of wooded fitness trails, water taxi system, and more.
Vacation cottage owners and renters can elect housekeeping service, as well as access to an on-demand grocery shopping and delivery service – giving travelers the flexibility to check in and chill out, relaxing immediately upon arrival without missing a beat.
