Evermore Orlando Resort is ringing in 2024 with a grand opening.

The 1,100-acre luxury vacation destination, centered around Orlando’s first artificial lagoon and anchored by the city’s first Conrad Hotel, will make its debut on Jan 1, according to a report in GrowthSpotter.

The resort, near Disney World off Winter Garden Vineland Road, is the result of a $1 billion development project by Dart Interests that encountered several delays due to COVID-19, rising construction costs and hurricanes.

“After five years of meticulous planning and building, we are thrilled to open Evermore Orlando Resort,” said Christopher Kelsey, president of Dart Interests, in a news release.  “We’re proud to have created Orlando’s first beach paradise designed intentionally for groups, friends and families to effortlessly vacation together.”

Evermore Orlando Resort includes luxury vacation homes, villas, and flats as well as the four-story 433-room Conrad Hotel. The hotel forms an L-shape overlooking Evermore Bay, a 20-acre beach complex. Using technology by Miami-based company Crystal Lagoons, the lagoon spans eight acres and is filled with 17 million gallons of water.

Sprinkled throughout Evermore Bay’s tropical aesthetic, among Palm trees and white sandy beaches, are 10 cabanas and two bars.

A two-story, 8,448 square-foot boathouse — a venue for weddings and private events — will offer views of the property from the southern tip of the lagoon, facing the hotel.

In addition to the hotel, Evermore Resorts will include 69 vacation houses ranging in size from five to eleven bedrooms, 206 four-bedroom flats, and 41 two and four-bedroom villas ranging from 2 to 4 bedrooms.

The vacation homes will be available as short-term rentals owned and maintained by the resort.

That the resort owns the vacation homes, as opposed to individuals who lease them out via Airbnb or VRBO, sets it apart from other similar resort concepts, project leaders say.

The Conrad Hotel opens with 61 suites and five dining options, including a Polynesian restaurant and bar as well as an elevated rooftop Mexican restaurant with scenic views of the property.

Other on-site amenities include a spa and private water garden, fitness center, zero-entry pool, cabanas, Kid’s Club, private beach access, and 65,000 square feet of ballroom space for meetings and events.
