First phase scheduled to open in 2017

The first renderings of the Jimmy Buffett-themed Margaritaville Resort Orlando have been released, giving locals and travelers a sneak-peek look at the $750 million project where it will always be 5 o’clock somewhere.
The resort is expected to feature a hotel, vacation homes and a water park.
According to a release from Margaritaville Holdings, the resort “will become an oasis for relaxation and fun” and include that “One Particular Harbour,” a “FinCity” arcade, a “St. Somewhere Spa,” a planetarium and the “Son of a Sailor” fishing school. Margaritaville Resort Orlando is also expected to feature a three-acre freshwater lagoon.
It will be located along US-192, near the State Road 429 toll entrance.
The resort is inspired by the songs of Jimmy Buffett.
The first phase of the resort is expected to open in 2017.
