Disney Springs’ STK Steakhouse to open May 25

STK Steakhouse, the new restaurant and lounge at Disney Springs, will be opening May 25, 2016. This 15,000-square-foot location will be two stories with rooftop dining and is run by The ONE Group Hospitality, Inc. Some of the items to be featured on the menu include Florida grouper, chilled rubbed rack of lamb and seared tuna. Signature dishes include bite-sized “Lil BRGs” made of Wagyu beef, lobster mac & cheese, steaks, seafood and desserts.
Chef James O’Donnell will run all day-to-day kitchen operations of the restaurant, which will employee about 70 people. O’Donnell has worked as executive chef at House of Blues in Los Angeles and Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse in Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Casinso, as well as acting as director of culinary operations for Cornerstone Management and Consulting, which had him overseeing eight restaurants in North America.
