Largest Mall in America just won approval and is going to be built in Florida!

With an approval by Miami-Dade County’s Planning Advisory Board, a $4 billion mall is one step closer to reality.
The American Dream mall would not only be the largest mall in the country, it would also include rides and games and is being billed as a local alternative to Disney World.
It would employ 14,000 people, cover more than 6 million square feet and draw an estimated 30 million visitors each year.
And all those visitors mean about 100,000 car trips each day once the mall is completed, all to a wetlands site near the Everglades, where I-75 meets the Florida Turnpike.

Residents of the Miami Lakes area are worried that they could be inundated in traffic, and some environmentalists are concerned about the effect such a massive project could have on the local area.

But it could also mean a major economic boost, not only in retail but in the broader tourism industry.
