Disney Springs is about to welcome an exciting new attraction! LEVEL99, an immersive gaming venue, is set to take over the former NBA Experience space in the West Side section of Walt Disney World’s entertainment hub. This expansion follows the success of LEVEL99’s original locations in Natick, Massachusetts, and Providence, Rhode Island.
What is LEVEL99?
LEVEL99 combines over 50 physical and mental challenge rooms with artistic environments, craft beverages, and dining options. Designed for groups of two to six players, these challenge rooms offer fast-paced, themed activities that typically last between one and four minutes. Additionally, the venue features arena duels for one-on-one competition and an art hunt showcasing hidden symbols within hundreds of pieces of local artwork.
LEVEL99 aims to revolutionize the interactive entertainment space. “We are defining the category and setting the standard for out-of-home, interactive entertainment,” said CEO and founder Matthew DuPlessie. “Opening at a marquee location like Disney Springs is the next step in our plans to expand the LEVEL99 brand nationally.”
What to Expect at LEVEL99 Disney Springs
Spanning 45,000 square feet across two levels, the Disney Springs venue will accommodate approximately 1,000 players at a time. While an official opening date and pricing details are yet to be announced, the Massachusetts location currently offers two-hour, four-hour, and all-day tickets, ranging from $29.99 to $55.99 depending on the date.
Located between Splitsville and CityWorks, and across from House of Blues near Cirque du Soleil, LEVEL99 is set to become a major attraction at Disney Springs.
A Space with History
The NBA Experience originally opened in August 2019 but was shuttered in 2020 due to the pandemic and later permanently closed in 2021. Before that, the site housed DisneyQuest, an interactive gaming attraction that closed in 2017. With LEVEL99’s arrival, this prime location will once again be home to a high-energy, immersive entertainment experience.
